I had a bunch of serrano peppers so they ended up inside some delicious chicken enchiladas

I also had some zucchini so they turned into Baked Zucchini Sticks

There were also tons of peaches & plums I hadn't eaten so I made a tasty Plum & Peach Crisp! It sure was tasty and so much healthier than one of my favorites, peach cobbler.

Last but not least, I made cupcakes....not that I had to in order to use up my produce, but they're just fun & simple!

Spending my day in the kitchen was so enjoyable and stress-free that the dishes didn't even seem to bother me! I have officially caught the kitchen fever!

YUM is all I have to say! So sorry a tough time is what caused you to feel the need to cook, BUT your food looks so delicious! Guess 'food therapy' had a happy ending for you...and your lucky recipients! ;P Much cheaper than retail therapy too. ;) If I didn't already spend so much time in the kitchen, I'd be tempted to try it myself. Actually, I do need to make {healthy} treats more often, so perhaps I will challenge myself to do just that.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I think your blog title is just perfect for you, since you often bake with others in mind. It's kinda like giving away a piece of your heart...your lovin'...from your oven. ;D Too bad we don't live close enough to pass the treat plate back and forth --that would be so much fun!
Can't wait to see what else you share here!
love you always, sweet daughter of mine~
